7.8 Streaming of 3D video

3D video can be broadcasted using two parallel teams implementing the MCS (see Section ??). In one of the teams the left view (for example) of the stereoscopic video is transmitted whilst in the other team, the other view or simply the differences between both views are transmitted. Thus, a user with a 2D display only need to run a peer that belongs to the left-view team and “3D users” need to run two peers. In this configuration, the differences-view team should be the channel with lower priority (see Figure 7).
